News in LED lighting autumn 2014

LED lighting is probably the fastest growing lighting and lighting technology. The biggest advantage of LED light sources is their durability and efficiency, or the power input/light output ratio. Development has further increased their efficiency, which is now higher than that of energy saving bulbs, fluorescent lamps and the latest LED chips even outperform some discharge lamps. New LED light sources are also being developed to replace the convectional ones. Examples include new LED tubes or bulbs that mimic conventional filament bulbs. Here is the first part of the new products from Philips for this autumn.
